just not very well written or edited

I've practiced pediatric anesthesia in an academic setting for 30 years. I bought the Kindle version to study for an upcoming exam. This book is full of typos and inaccuracies. Really, just not very well written. The quality of writing and coverage of material varies widely between authors. The editors failed to "smooth" out the styles making for very uneven material with variable accessibility.
The problem with a textbook is that students expect the information to be accurate. In some cases the inaccuracies in this text are fairly subtle- making it dangerous. I did not use any of the online resources.

Easy to use textbook

I got the kindle version of this textbook as a way to read outside of my home. I have found it to be an easy to use book, the table of contents makes skipping from section to section very convenient. There are also links for multimedia bits and these make the book easier to read than reading the book and looking up the multimedia on your computer.
